Dodge & Burn

Dodge and burn is a photoshop tool that is kind of like painting light and shadows onto your images. You can burn areas that you need to become darker, and dodge areas you need to become lighter. We use the Dodge and Burn action in The Secret Sauce and we would rather never edit another image again than give up using it! Below are some examples of using this tool - this is the only difference between the images. 

In the before (first image), look at the baby's forehead, the wrap near her chest and mom's wrist. Then check out those areas in the after!
